BENDING & FABRICATION Designed to your specification using the best technology Designed to your specification using the best technology Owners of our systems have commented on the improved engine response, with some reporting increased power due to the lower restrictiveness of our hand built silencers and pipework. ​ ALUNOX systems are first fabricated and then hand-fitted to your vehicle at our premises. All welds are carried out by a coded welder using the correct welding techniques, including gas purging and distressing to ensure a successful and efficient stainless system or manifold. ​ Our systems include all pipework, boxes, silencers, flexible couplings, and where necessary, stacks and metal connectors. ​ Our manifolds are precision-made to high levels of engineering accuracy, ensuring equal length in both primary and secondary tubing. Our systems are manufactured from four different grades of material: 304, 321, Inconel, and Titanium. ​ TUBE DIA: From 12.70mm to 101.60mm (½” to 4″) OD. Other sizes available on special order. SLIP JOINTS: Spring or stud, single or double. TABS: Choice of four styles. EXPANSION: Joints included where specified. CATALYTIC CONVERTERS: Choice of specifications. TITANIUM EXHAUST SYSTEMS Enhance your vehicle's performance with our premium Titanium Exhaust System. From manifolds to tailpipes, we offer a wide range of high-quality products designed to boost horsepower and torque. Designed to your specification using the best technology Alunox Titanium Exhaust Technology ​ TITANIUM KSTI-1,2 ASN – is Alunox's first choice for all lightweight, high-strength exhaust manifolds and performance systems. It has high-temperature and excellent oxidation resistance. The Titanium Grade KSTI-1, 2ASN is based on commercially pure titanium and stabilised with aluminium, silicon, and niobium. ​ The grade has been developed by Kobe Steel of Japan and has been successfully introduced to existing manufacturers of exhaust systems. The properties of KSTI-1, 2ASN with high-temperature oxidation resistance up to 800°C and excellent fatigue properties make it ideal for exhaust manufacture. The high oxidation resistance gives an added advantage of weight saving because it is possible to use thinner wall gauges than was previously possible. Despite the stabilising elements that have been introduced, the formability of KSTI-1, 2ASN remains excellent with similar characteristics to that of Titanium Grade 2. ​ We also use Gr 2 titanium where the heat is around 450°C; this is a more cost-effective material. We use both Gr2 and ASNEX throughout the design and construction of all our titanium systems we manufacture. ​ Alunox has been using Anex material for the last 10 years in high-end header fabrication and systems, proving to be excellent in long-lasting applications. ASNEX can also withstand some turbo manifold applications. ​ We currently stock ASNEX and Gr2 tubes and sheets in 1mm and 1.2mm wall thicknesses. Most tube sizes are custom-made to our tube bending chart. All Asnex tubes and mandrel bends are custom-made and have a lead time of 1 to 2 weeks. All our mandrel bends are produced on our high-pressure carriage boost mandrel bender, enabling us to keep wall thickness to a minimum and reduce ovality throughout the bend radius. CONTACT US
